Good Things

 

Vacations are over and it's back to work. I took a week off which flew by but at the same time felt too long. After a few days away from the newsroom I get antsy, not sure why. I think it's because I like being up to date and not miss anything. But I must say it was a great vacation. I spent it with the hub's and my dad and couldn't ask for a better time. 

If you follow me on instagram you probably saw I posted a picture of a yummy dessert celebrating the new promotion I got at work. The festivities were a week late but knowing me I like to par-tay any time. I'm now a news assignment editor and so excited to end the year on a good note, especially career-wise. Never give up on what you want and believe in. Work like there is no tomorrow because the only competition you have is yourself.

Today's outfit is something casual yet perfect for the beach, since we were at the Hyatt Huntington Beach. I wanted to keep cool and go with the theme. Wishing you a happy hump day!
