Chambray and Lace

A little layering using my favorite item as of now, the embellished collar shirt. I love the embellishment it ads the perfect touch of chic and glam to any outfit. I also dusted off this coat that I forgot I had and wore it. I like the mix of prints and textures. 

What did you think of the Golden Globes? I wasn't impressed. I feel it lacked script and it seem Amy Poehler was bored. I was excited to see what the stars where wearing but again there wasn't much of a selection. The one dress I did love was Naomi Watts's Gucci gown. I loved the rich yellow and of course the Bulgari serpent necklace. The dress was simple, elegant, and form fitting. I was expecting to see more color and embellishment but many went the other route. I couldn't get enought of Amal Clooney. She looked beautiful as always and somewhat bored at the awards, lol. I enjoyed watching her facial expressions. Can't wait for the Oscars, let's see how that goes.
