A Garden Walk

Happy Friday! Today’s look is my version of romantic and feminine. I love skirts especially full skirts. They remind me of the 50’s and of course my favorite show, I Love Lucy. It’s  a great piece to have in your closet which gives the illusion of an hourglass shape for any body structure as well as hide the muffin top when it’s needed. This type of skirt is one that can be used all year long and worn with pretty much anything. Whether you splurge or save on it, it’s always a great investment for any closet. I found this skirt at a local boutique and love the fact it has pockets. I’m the type of person who needs pockets for so many reasons to store or hide my phone, lip gloss, keys, notes, etc. Even when I carry a bag I still find myself storing things in my pockets. I love white clothing but my only issue with it is I easily get it dirty and usually happens as soon as I walk out the door (ha!). But thank the heavens for bleach and vinegar. They both remove the dirt and leave everything looking new. I one thing I did notice is how easily the material wrinkles. I usually spray starch on it but this time I skipped it thinking it wouldn’t need it since the material is thick, lesson learned for next time.
