A Preppy and Biker Mix

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and mother's day. Today is exactly 7 years since my mom's passing and I will be honest and say it hasn't been an easy road with out my best friend and other half but it sure has made me stronger and invincible. I've taken chances and know that if I don't succeed it doesn't mean I failed it means to try again and learn from it. Failing means to never try something and give up on yourself. Succeeding isn't about being number one but making it to the finish line no matter what. Life is a race and we all take it at our own pace, step by step to that finish.

Today's look is another preppy look with a touch of biker that I wore to work. I like mixing opposite styles to express my personality. I'm not so much of a conservative nor full edgy rocker but I am a mix of both with a few sprinkles of feminine and tomboy. Comfort has always been my main priority as well as keeping every look my own.
