The holidays are getting close and I must say it makes me super dupper happy. On Saturday my dad and I made our practice run of Tamales Lojanos. I must say we did a mighty good job compare to last year ( they came out hard as rocks). So we have decided to make Tamales for Thanksgiving, now that we know how to make the masa.
My father is from Ecuador and the recipe for Tamales is different from Mexico and Central America. So, I emailed my aunt asking her for the recipe and viola!
Moving on, here are pictures from Sunday. Pops was my photographer. After we got home from church he was kind enough to snap pictures just like old times. As a child my father would carry a camera everywhere just to take pictures of mom and I, which I love because I can go back anytime and look at them and see my beautiful mother ( I still get teary everytime I look back at our memories).
Wearing: Marciano Coat. Macy's Skirt. Tommy Hilfigher Turtle-neck. BCBG boots. Steve Madden bag.
