Last week the hubby and I had an overdue date night. Since
our schedules never meet and if it’s not one thing or another we tend to
just keep our days simple. But this time he surprised me with balcony passes to
American Idol and dinner. But before all that he snapped a few pictures with
his cell phone of my outfit. (sorry for the quality)
I had seen a similar dress by Michael Kors but just passed
on it the first time around. Then when I
saw it on the catalog I realize I should have gotten it. It was a little too late because when I went
back I didn’t find my size. But on one of those trips to local boutiques I found a somewhat similar to that version and a
lot cheaper. I love the material and how it flows with my body and is perfect
for warm days and can be easily paired with various pieces to make it casual or dressy.
As you know I love statement necklaces and color so I had to
put on a bright statement neck piece to complete the look. Another thing you
might also now is I love boots and I am most comfortable when I wear them. My tootsies
don’t get as tired and I can hang all day and night.
