The week has flown by and my sweet tooth has heavily kicked in. Does that ever happen to you when all of a sudden all you want to eat are sweet treats?
I love anything with pumpkin in it, especially in shakes. Here's a quick recipe to satisfy that craving anytime and perfectly timed for Summer.
Ingredients: Servings 1
-1/2c Canned Pumpkin
-1 Banana (frozen if you like)
-1/2c to 3/4c of Almond or Coconut Milk
-Dash of Pumpkin spice
-Dash of Cinnamon
-Dash of Nutmeg
-3 tbsp of Graham cracker crumbs or Granola (your choice)
- Whipped cream
-Raspberries or any choice of fruit to top
Directions: Blend all the ingredients together except for the crumbs, whipped cream, and fruit. If it's to thick add more milk until you find the right consistency that suits you. Once all is well blended pour, top with whipped cream, graham crackers, pinch of cinnamon and fruit. Serve and enjoy. It's quick and uses things you probably already have in your kitchen. Feel free to add your twist.
