Cloudy Trenches

 Happy Friday and weekend ahead. Our days have been cool and cloudy which is why I’ve been layering and wearing warmer clothing. Today’s look is a mix. I recently got this trench coat  on sale from Ann Taylor and can get enough of it. I like the contrast between the faux- leather and cotton. You can wear it up or down and it will always be a great addition to any look. Plus, it’s a timeless piece you can use over and over and not store in your closet after one season. I’m looking forward to this weekend for one reason, well many actually. But the main one is the marathon I’ll be running this Saturday along the coast in Rancho Palos Verdes. I trained but not as much as I had hoped to but I did tried, I promise. I grabbed my pups and let them take me away until we couldn’t anymore. I can confirm I improved in time from week 1 to week 6, which is this week. I learned to maintain a pace and breathing which is very important. Overall I'm happy and excited and definitely a new challenge I added to my list of goals under the age of 30. It’s also a way to compare myself for future marathons.
