Denim and patches seem to be one of this years trends along with floral prints. I went ahead and added a denim jacket and of course a printed blouse.. keeping my signature girl on the go look going. I love denim and mixing it in. It easily tones down a formal look and gives it some edge.
One of the things I liked about this skirt was how versatile it is. You can dress it up or down. One thing to keep in mind is that it does run a size or two big. I'm usually a size 10-12 but in this occasion I had to go down to an 8. But aside from that I can see myself using this skirt for various occasions. It's a great work piece staple that you can wear so many ways.
Scarves are one of the must-have pieces I always recommend to have and use. The more the merrier. There are so many colors, prints, fabrics, sizes, styles... the list goes on. They instantly transform any outfit. Just like the skirt I can easily go from one season to the next mixing with new an older pieces from your closet. I personally will be using more of the scarf in Spring and Summer. It reminds me of that beach breeze and beautiful pinkish sunsets.
