Sunshine on a Rainy Day

It finally rained in Los Angeles since we were suffering from a severe drought. Even though the days were gloomy I made sure my mood was not by mixing bright colors with darker ones. For that reason I wore this bright yellow jacket I bought last year as a transition from our “Winter” to our soon to be Spring.

I had been looking for a black and white skirt like this one or something similar for a while now. I first headed to Topshop and had no luck. Then I tried the Loft, Banana Republic, Zara and nada. Well a few weeks ago while I killed time to be let in to Costco I headed to the local boutiques in my neighborhood. I was just browsing when I found this skirt. I love the fabric because it stretches and I don't have to worry about zippers. The best part is I only paid $15 for it!  Yes, even I was surprised. I get really excited when I find major bargains that are so versatile and I can combine with different pieces I already own. I’m also looking forward to share with you different ways I’ll be wearing this skirt.

What has been one of your major bargain's?
